Practically from its origins, Grupo Vento has worked to offer solutions within the “musts and juices” sector, carrying out everything from supplying equipment, which has evolved along with technological development, to carrying out complete industrial plants.
Our activity focuses on the one hand on the supply of equipment, such as must concentrators and desulphitators, rectification plants (MCR), aroma recovery columns, decolorization and demineralization treatments, pasteurization, juice concentrators with recovery of essential oils, advanced treatments in citrus juices, etc.
On the other hand, we offer solutions for complete line projects, such as for production of concentrated and rectified grape must, for production of fruit juice, for treatment of wastewater generated along with recovery of by-products, for recovery of tartrates, etc.
It allows the recovery of the essential oil and eliminates the pollutant load of the evaporated waters.
We develop systems for the purification of evaporated and wastewater generated in the citrus industries, recovery of essential oils and treatment of peels.
For the treatment and valorization of the peels from the juice extractors we have developed a production process based on their prior hardening by adding lime, prior to pressing.
The evaporated water, free of contamination, can be reused in factory processes. The sugary concentrate is mixed with the skins coming out of the dryer.
Essential oils, purified water and a sugary concentrate are obtained.
Process based on combining evaporation, distillation and desulphitation at low temperature.
If you plan to make wine without alcohol, a wine with a lower alcohol content or an aromatic wine with less SO2, at Grupo Vento we know how to do it through a process based on the combination of evaporation / distillation / desulphitation, which allows us to obtain design wines adjusted to consumer tastes.
The desulfitation unit incorporates a decontamination system for evaporated water. Zero liquid discharge.
Desulfitation requirements are very varied. Our teams satisfy the most demanding requirements.
The water evaporated from the juice contains SO2 and its liquid discharge constitutes a major source of environmental pollution. The system incorporates a specific unit for desulphitation of the evaporated water that also allows the concentration of SO2 to 98%, in its gaseous state.
SO2 content at the outlet less than 20 ppm. Same Brix graduation of the input and output must.
Process based on continuous distillation characterized by optimum performance in oil depletion with low steam consumption.
Our pasteurizers allow us to work with the HTST ‘High Temperature Short Time’ method, that is, to subject the product to high temperatures for a short period of time. In this way, a highly efficient process is achieved, which allows optimizing pasteurization, ensuring that all the desired effects are obtained, while minimizing undesirable effects (loss of organoleptic and / or nutritional properties).
The whole installation is controlled by SCADA monitoring software attached to a PLC that retrieves information from different probes, performs the needed actuations to valves and pumps, and can perform, if needed, a recirculation loop to assure the product reaches the desired working conditions. The system is provided with a touch screen from where all parameters can be viewed and manipulated.
Process sections: preheating / heating / holding / cooling.
The final characteristics of the rectified and concentrated musts will be those referred to EEC regulation No. 1493/1999.
Equipment designed to manufacture sulfur grape juices, being able to obtain concentrated grape juice with the strictest quality standards and with minimal processing costs, as well as concentrated musts appropriate to the quality parameters required by customers (variable contents of: SO2, HMF, ºBrix and THK).
The final characteristics of rectified and concentrated musts will be those referred to in EEC regulation No. 1493/1999.
The passage of the must through the resins ends when any of the product’s quality indicators, pH or conductivity, exceed the preset values and the regeneration cycle is carried out.
A rectified, colorless and transparent must is obtained that contains mainly the natural sugars of the grape (glucose and fructose).
By means of the new ‘TWODSYSTEM’ equipment we can incorporate twice the evaporation effects to the concentration, through a distribution of the desulphitation stages and a sophisticated path of the vapors produced in the evaporation of the must and juices, achieving evaporation yields by supplied steam more than five times, which means reducing energy costs by approx. 45% / 55%, depending on whether we have four or three effects.
The ‘TWODSYSTEM’ team continues to respect the technical working conditions to achieve the best organoleptic guarantee of the product, as well as desulphitation performance, complying with the law of atmospheric emissions as well as of condensed and process waters.
Unbeatable payback curve. Investment vs. Cost effectiveness. The system can be applied to your current concentrator reducing its energy consumption.
