Fame Distillation
Our distillation system concentrates a biodiesel with a higher purity than 98% from a mixture of FAME (Fatty Acid Methyl Ester) generated from recyclable and sustainable raw materials such as oleins, animal fats, used cooking oils (UCO) and refined-oil impurities.

The integration between processes such as high vacuum evaporation and heat exchange to save energy, allows us to achieve cost-effective results and the concentration of FAME which complies with the strictest quality standards EN 14214 and ASTM D6751.

Methanol Recovery
Semi-continuous fractionating column designed for recovering methanol coming from transesterification with more than 85% of methanol content in its feedstock.

Continuous fractionating column ideally designed for feedstock with methanol content between 20-30%.

The importance of methanol recovery is due to its high cost as a raw material. The re-utilization of the excess of MeOH generated after transesterification reaction is decisive to conduct a business profitably.

Our drying process is generated by a vacuum flash evaporator. This system operates with a heat transfer source either steam or thermal oil according to the availability of resources in the biodiesel plant.

Raw Material Pre-Processing
Integrating processes such as Filtration, Decantation, Centrifugation, Dehydration, Esterification and so on… all those contaminants found in used cooking oil (UCO), which could lead to poor yield, are removed from the feedstock.

Scrubber
A wet scrubber is an ideal air pollution control device for the removal of pollutants and gases generated from industrial exhaust streams in biodiesel production.

A watery solution enriched in Methanol is obtained from which the MeOH will be recovered and the washing gases will be already ready to be released to the Atmosphere.

Evaporation process designed for reaching and exceeding 80% of glycerine concentration

PURIFICATION OF GLYCERINE VIA VACUUM DISTILLATION

A vacuum Distillation process designed for reaching between 90-98% of glycerine content

According to the type of product to be stored, our tanks will be constructed from the most suitable material in order to provide the highest performance under the most demanding requirements.
