A pilot plant is a small-scale industrial plant, the objective of which is to obtain sufficient information about a certain process, usually little known, before developing it on an industrial scale. Or to study the effect of certain variables in an industrial process already in operation, being able to work on a smaller scale and with greater flexibility. They are, therefore, small experimental plants; being halfway between the laboratory and the industrial reality.

At Grupo Vento we design and build Pilot Plants based on specific prerequisites, based on close collaboration with the client. In addition, our R+D+i department also develops pilot plants for its own use in our facilities. We have experience in pilot plants for chemical reaction, extraction, drying, distillation, evaporation ...

We also make sure to implement perfect automation and control in the pilot plants; since in these the flexibility and ease of operation, as well as the precision in the measurements and adequate data collection, are fundamental.
