H2ALRECYCLING PROJECT
H2ALRECYCLING PROJECT

2012 - 2016

The European LIFE project "H2ALRECYCLING" consists of obtaining hydrogen from aluminum and ammonia waste to produce electricity in a fuel cell. It requires a pilot plant to study and optimize the variables of the process.

The analysis of the laboratory tests, carried out by the Technological Institute of Energy (ITE), has allowed INDETEC to design and build such a customized pilot plant, where the corresponding tests are carried out on a larger scale.

The project, coordinated by JAP Energéticas y Medioambientales, will be validated in the town of Pedralba (Valencia) in its piloting phase.
